Q. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING CAKE?

Peak wedding season is April through October with the majority of weddings occurring during the months of June, July, August and September. Take this into consideration and try to order your cake at least 6 months in advance.

 

Q. HOW MUCH CAKE SHOULD I ORDER?

Order the cake for at least 2/3 of your guests. You will not have a final count of wedding guests attending until about one month prior to your wedding date. Only order what you think you will need, we will be happy to add "extra servings" to accommodate any guest overages, but we will not down size an order once it has been booked. All orders must be finalized one month prior to the event.

 

Q. HOW SHOULD MY WEDDING CAKE BE STORED AND HOW LONG CAN IT BE OUT ON DISPLAY FOR?

Wedding cakes are not to be left out in an environment any warmer than 16 degrees Celsius for any longer than 2 hours. Do not display in direct sunlight as fading & melting will occur. Try to keep your cake refrigerated until serving.

 

Q. IS THERE A DELIVERY CHARGE?

Delivery in the Vancouver area is complimentary with a minimum purchase of $400. Otherwise, the fee is $50-$100 depending on the location. Delivery times are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

 

Q. HOW MUCH IS MY CAKE GOING TO COST?

$7.00 Per portion. Additional charges apply to custom colors, shapes, specialty sponges, designs and specialty icings.

 

Q. DOES MY CAKE INCLUDE FRESH FLOWERS?

These prices do not include the price of fresh flowers. Flowers should be provided and placed by your florist upon delivery to the reception site.

 

Q. WHEN DO I NEED TO MAKE A PAYMENT AND WHAT ARE THE METHODS ACCEPTED?

Payment is due in full on the day the cake is ordered. All sales are final. You may pay by Cash, cheque or credit card (Master Card & VISA), we do not accept Debit. All quotes expire after 30 days.
